A cleansing conditioner, also known "co-wash" (conditioner wash), is an all-in-one, low-to-no-foam hair product that gently cleanses and conditions hair simultaneously without using harsh detergents or sulfates. They are especially popular for individuals with dry, curly, coiled, or color-treated hair as they help hair maintain its natural oils and moisture, which traditional shampoos can strip away.
How to Use: Cleansing conditioners are used in place of traditional shampoo, either for every wash or as a supplementary routine a few times a week.
- Wet your hair thoroughly with water.
- Use a generous amount of product, significantly more than you would regular shampoo or conditioner, to fully saturate your hair from root to tip.
